Pronounced like Ella    Chela Eyewear is a moderately priced luxury fashion brand.  Our goal is to offer our customers high-quality, super dope designs at a fraction of what the giant conglomerates charge.  This is what high-end sunglasses should cost.

Modern, chic and a little retro    That’s the best set of adjectives we could come up with, but truthfully, we’re like you.  We’re not going to be satisfied with one design aesthetic.  We don’t care if it’s glam, chic, boho, street, sleek, funk, or punk.  If it’s cool, we want it.  So, that’s what we’re going to offer our customers: whatever’s cool.

Clarity    We’re fastidious about what we put in front of our eyes.  No matter how awesome the design is, if it’s not crystal clear, it’s an annoyance you don’t need.  In addition to exceptional clarity, all our lenses, save for the mirrored varieties, feature a subtle top-to-bottom gradation.  Colored lenses feature unobtrusive tints that give you a distinct look and feel while allowing your eyes to relax.  It should go without saying that all our lenses offer 100% protection against UVA and UVB rays, also referred to as UV 400.

Independence    We’re not part of the giant monolith that has a tight grip over most of the eyewear industry.  We don’t have to contend with retail markups.  We don’t pay to license your favorite designer's label.  We don’t pay gigantic celebrity endorsements.  We don’t pay brick-and-mortar costs.  All of this makes it possible for us to offer you a badass pair of sunglasses for what a pair of premium sunglasses should cost.
